hi hi! i’m leah— the who behind the whatnot. i’m a graphic designer by trade and a lifelong creative. for years, i have been the go-to gal for everyone from family, to friends, to friends of friends, to coworkers of neighbors of cousins of friends, for business logos, invitations, websites, custom t-shirts, you name it.
i’ve been told for years that i should start my own official business, but honestly, held myself back for fear of failure, judgment, or whatever silly little anxiety i felt at the time. this year, though, i came to the conclusion that the only way to truly fail is to not try at all, so i’m turning the what-if’s into whatnot and really taking the leap.
whether you’re a small business trying to figure it all out, or a newly engaged bride-to-be lost in the planning process, i’m here to take the creative load off your plate, and help bring your moodboard to life.

the timeline for custom design work depends on the scope of your project and the availability of our team. during project discovery, we’ll will discuss the estimated timeline and ensure it aligns with your expectations. expedited delivery options available for an additional fee of 15% of the totoal project cost.

a 30% deposit of the quoted project cost is due when you approve the design quote. the remaining balance can be split into one or two more payments

every project starts with a discovery to discuss your project and address any questions you have. afterward, we’ll provide a design quote + contract outlining the project details, timeline, and estimated costs. once you sign the contract, we’ll start working on your project and keep you updated throughout the process.

how far in advance should i book wedding + event services?
we recommend booking at least 8 months out from your big day for full suite services!
will I receive all of my event products at once?
no—because the design process is a rolling one. save the dates are designed and sent first, then we move on to invitations, then signage—each at the right time in your event timeline. the 6–8 week timeline listed in the service description isn’t consecutive; it reflects the total time we’ll spend communicating, refining, and finalizing your designs across the different phases. your pieces will be delivered when you actually need them, not all at once.
can you provide the artwork for me to print elsewhere?
yes, we can provide you with the artwork files for you to print wherever you choose. we also offer full print services if you'd like us to handle the printing for you.
does whatnot handle sending postage directly to the guests?
no, we’ll package all printed items and send them to your address so you get a chance to see them in person before they go out. you’ll then be responsible for mailing them to your guests.
